Built for IMO D2 and USCG compliance.
The International Maritime Organisation (IMO) introduced the Ballast Water Management Convention (BWMC) in 2004 to address the Control and Management of Ships' Ballast Water and Sediments for sea-going vessels exceeding 400 gt utilizing ballast water. The Ballast Water Code (BWC) became effective on September 8, 2017, mandating all new and existing ships to effectively manage their ballast water and tanks to eliminate or neutralize invasive species in their ballast water discharge.
Leveraging our extensive experience and profound expertise in vessels and marine engineering, we possess an optimal understanding of the environment in which a Ballast Water Management System needs to be installed.
Through our technical assessment of BWMS for your specific vessel, we can identify potential equipment locations, installation paths, and electrical cabinet placements. Our team of engineers is well-equipped to provide recommendations for crucial considerations during the installation process.
Recognizing the significance of equipment operations and the impact of problems and downtime on the owners' financial performance, we advocate the benefits of a single supplier for the entire design process, equipment supply, and installation support. This integrated approach not only enhances cost-efficiency but also streamlines communication across different disciplines within the same company, ensuring heightened effectiveness.
