There are several thousand ships in operation with Hamworthy pumps on board. These include pump room systems for FPSOs/FSOs, tankers of all sizes from VLCCs to handy size including shuttle tankers for offshore loading operations. Based on our experience and ability to continuously develop our technology in accordance with the latest requirements in tanker design and operation, we are in a unique position to satisfy our customers.
The traditional Pump Room System is characterised by a separate room for pumping equipment located between the engine room and the cargo hold – an arrangement that provides easy access to all key components for regular inspection and maintenance.
