Variable speed control with frequency converters means energy saving and noise reduction.
As a leading pump manufacturer Hamworthy Svanehoj has developed an electrically driven, variable speed regulated cargo system to meet the growing demands with regards to environment and to achieve optimum performance with various cargo densities and viscosities.
Using a frequency converter for electric motors enables the motor and hence the pump to run at variable speeds. This will result in a higher total system efficiency and hence lower power consumption.
