Hamworthy’s rig tensioning compressors and heave compensation compressor packages are fully integrated, lightweight, compact and engineered for the offshore environment.
Hamworthy has been designing and manufacturing high pressure compressors for over 70 years. The rig-tensioning package is particularly suitable for regular updates and refurbishment.
Hamworthy’s rig tensioning compressor modules combine a 4 stage compressor, air dryer and filtration package with a contained cooling system, producing dry, filtered, high pressure air/gas suitable for riser tensioning and offshore applications world-wide. Units are tested and fully assembled ready for installation. The module also meets the requirements of the major marine classification societies.
