Ever since 1972 Hamworthy has supplied pumps for several land-based plants in France, Turkey, Norway and Denmark.
In areas where gases, liquids or floating solid particles may occur in combination with oxygen, an explosive atmosphere may arise, and for security reasons strict procedures are set up for all installations that are used in such areas.
We provide two types of deepwell pumps: the DWK/P pump used to handle Nitric acid and VCM etc, and the DWG pump mounted with inducer for handling ammonia and gases.
Type DWK/P – a DWK/P deepwell cargo pump consists of three major items: a pump cylinder multi stage, pipe stack and a discharge base.
Type DWG – the DWG deepwell cargo pump consists of three major items; a pump cylinder multi stage mounted with inducer, pipe stack and a discharge base.
The pump is standard manufactured in stainless steel AISI 304, and for cargo temperatures down to -163 °C.
Booster pumps - these are available in both horizontal and vertical execution. The pumps are delivered for both two and four pole electric motor operation and as complete units (i.e. mounted on a base plate).
