LNG regasification
Hamworthy's LNG regasification combines the very latest in gas technology with environmental and safety regulations.
Hamworthy is a leading supplier of onboard regasification systems for installation on Shuttle Regasification Vessels (SRV), Floating Storage Regasification Vessels (FSRV) and Floating Storage Regasification Units (FSRU).
LNG regasification units are skid-mounted, very compact and can easily be arranged on deck. The LNG regasification unit by Hamworthy is designed for marine installations and for cryogenic working conditions.
In November 2008 Hamworthy delivered its first onboard LNG regasification plant, to two SRVs under construction at Samsung in South Korea. Hamworthy is supplying three regasification skids per ship. Each shipset will have a regasification capacity of 210 tonnes/hr of LNG with a send-out pressure of 115 bar.
