Hamworthy's first small-scale LNG liquefaction plant with a capacity of 20,000 tons per year has been operating reliably since 2003. Outside Bergen in Norway we delivered a full separate extension at an existing plant. Kollsnes II went into operation in August 2007 with a capacity of 84,000 tons per year.
Hamworthy Serck Como GmbH designs and manufactures multi-stage flash (MSF)evaporation plants for producing fresh water from sea water, well water or industrial water. Hamworthy has already won 2 orders this year to supply a MSF evaporation plant in China, this is the 8th evaporator of the same type that Hamworthy has produced for steelworks in Europe and China.
Hamworthy Svanehøj A/S obtained an order for two 27m long deepwell pumps to feed the fertilizer factory Yara in Porsgrun, Norway with a constant supply of ammonia.
