LNG regasification
Hamworthy provide regasification systems for LNG SRVs, FSRVs and FSRUs.
Hamworthy’s LNG regasification units are skid-mounted, very compact and can easily be arranged on deck. It is anticipated that future offshore terminals will be attractively close to market areas that have significant variations in the seawater temperature. This has been taken into consideration in the design of the regasification plant.
Hamworthy provide regasification systems for LNG SRVs, FSRVs and FSRUs. LNG carriers can be used as floating import terminals for LNG (RSVs or FSRUs) by installing a LNG regasification plant using direct steam heated Glycol/Water mixture as a heating medium or alternatively Propane/Seawater in cascade loops. The Glycol/Water concept is already contracted for Hoegh LNG SRV to serve the Neptune offshore LNG terminal in Massachusetts, USA. The Cascade concept is contracted for Golar LNG to serve the Guanabara offshore LNG/FSRU terminal in Brazil.
