Hamworthy’s electric driven deepwell pumps offer a safe, reliable and energy saving alternative to hydraulic. Through extensive research these pumps have been developed at Hamworthy Svanehøj for LPG/ethylene and and combined LEG/chemical carriers.
The cargo lubricated deepwell pumps are used where a 4-pole e-motor is in occurrence. The pump is standard manufactured in stainless steel AISI 304, or similar, and for cargo temperatures down to -163 °C.
Booster pumps are available in both horizontal and vertical execution. The pumps are delivered for both 2 and 4 pole electric motor operation and delivered as complete units (i.e. mounted on a base plate).
